 Internship Courses

The internship programs offered by Abyss dive center, involve high level training at a relaxed environment, offering all the knowledge, study materials and diving equipment needed to become a dive professional. We are taking taking divers from any certification level to professional levels. The internship course offers free accommodation in large, fully equipped apartments rented by Abyss. All costs are included in the price advertised, except PADI books and PADI materials (slates etc). All students are allowed to use ABYSS equipment until they finish their training. There are employment possibilities upon successful completion of the program. 

Divers have to complete the Open Water, Advanced and Rescue courses (or have completed equivalent courses with other organizations) before they can actually enroll for the Divemaster course. Prices vary, depending on your certification level (if any), Please check our prices below. For people with no diving experience, or have no diving certification, an extra 400 euro and one week accommodation must be added to the total of 1300 euro.

Minimum age limit before completing the Divemaster course is 18 y.o

We call it an Internship course, because it gives to the trainees the opportunity to observe the instructors and divemasters working with/diving/teaching real customers. This way they have the opportunity to implement skills & attitudes not only learnt in the course but also seen and practiced by other professionals.

Prices below in Euro:

Open Water Diver to Divemaster:  1300 ( with 4-5 weeks accommodation )

Advanced Open Water Diver to Divemaster: 950 ( with 3-4 weeks accommodation)

Rescue Diver to Divemaster: 750 euro ( with 2-3 weeks accommodation)

Assistant Instructor course: 450 euro ( with 4 days accommodation )

EFR courses below can be taught separately and independently from the courses listed above.

(EFR) Emergency first response course (CPR and first aid required for the rescue diver level) 120 euro. (6 hours)
